Yesterday on 15th March 2025, the Sabah Rugby community are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Coach Gerard De Souza.

His dedication to the game and unwavering commitment to his players have left an indelible mark on the rugby community in Sabah. Through his hard work, passion, and mentorship, he touched the lives of so many, inspiring athletes to reach their fullest potential both on and off the field. His legacy will continue to live on in every person he coached, and the lessons he imparted will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate to have known and learned from him.
