UTHM Education & Training Sdn. Bhd. (UET) conducted a discussion session with FTK UTHM's academic and training team regarding the proposed development of the Earth2NxGV Talent Development Program led by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii).

The discussion focused on the development of the program's course outline, implementation plan, project timeline and project management framework to ensure effective ex*****on and alignment with industry requirements.

Key areas also included training facilities, technical equipment requirements, and EV-related infrastructure to support talent development. Through this strategic collaboration, UET remains committed to developing industry-ready talent and supporting Malaysia's workforce transformation agenda through high-impact training and skills development initiatives.

Discussion on Edutourism Programme with Centre for Language Studies (CLS), UTHM

The discussion focused on a proposed edutourism programme for students from Japan. The programme will include English language learning, daily communication practice, cultural activities, and educational visits to selected places in Johor.

The meeting was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Haji Azmi Abdul Latiff, Dean of the Centre for Language Studies, Associate Prof. Dr. Sazuliana Sanif, Deputy Dean (Academic and Students), and Madam Junko Hiyama, Japanese Language Teacher, Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics, Yamaguchi University.

Representing UTHM Education and Training Sdn. Bhd. were Pn. Hanita and Pn. Elyya.

This collaboration is expected to create more opportunities for international edutourism programmes, especially in language learning, cultural exchange, and educational experiences in Malaysia.

Strategic Collaboration Discussion with Shairul Cobley Solutions

On 5 June 2026 at 11.00 AM, UTHM Education and Training Sdn. Bhd. (UET) held a discussion with Shairul Cobley Solutions on a potential strategic collaboration for an upcoming Artificial Intelligence (AI) training programme.

The discussion focused on training capabilities, programme structure, content development, and possible partnership opportunities to support professional and government-sector training initiatives.

The meeting was attended by Tn. Shairul Cobley, Principal Consultant, Nabila Shairulnizam, Consultant / Accredited HRDC Trainer, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Sarah, General Manager of UET, and Pn. Elyya, Executive of UET.

This collaboration aims to strengthen UET’s training offerings and expand opportunities in professional AI education.

Refinement of Steam Boiler Operator & Steam Boiler Engineer Grade 1 and Grade 2 Course Modules

The meeting was convened to review, refine and finalize the latest course modules and learning plans for the Steam Boiler Operator and Steam Boiler Engineer Grade 1 and Grade 2 programmes in accordance with the DOSH 2025 Guidelines. Discussions also covered the allocation of trainers for each module, the appointment of permanent and guest instructors, the approval process for training provider accreditation and follow-up actions to ensure effective programme implementation and industry compliance.
