We eat, sleep and breathe BOOKS! It's our life. BAN HENG Store started trading in books way back in 1953. He is also known as Mr Ban Heng or Cikgu.
My father, TANG BENG alias TENG BENG KIT, is the sole proprietor. Any true-blooded Muarian would have met him or visited his shop at least once in their lifetime. We are still at 34, Jalan Abdullah, 84000 Muar, Johor. There are no plans for expansion. However we decided to go online so that more Malaysians can get access to more books be they new, old or rare. It has been quite a while since our last post. One of us at BAN HENG Store was infected by a mosquito carrying the chikungunya virus but has since recovered. Hence this mosquito joke.
