LABUAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AT THE 15TH MALAYSIAN JAMBOREE

Labuan International School is proud to have six students representing W.P. Labuan at the 15th Malaysian Jamboree, which will be held from 28 August to 4 September 2026 in Penang.

The journey towards this prestigious event was marked by the Handover Ceremony of the Federal Territory of Labuan Flag, held on 15 August 2026 in conjunction with the Closing Ceremony of the 2026 W.P. Labuan Scout Marching Competition.

The flag was formally handed over by the President of the W.P. Labuan Scout Council, Datuk Wira Dr. Ramli Tahir, to the Contingent Leader, Skip Nur Irrana binti Clement, symbolising the trust and responsibility entrusted to the contingent to proudly represent W.P. Labuan on the international stage.

The 15th Malaysian Jamboree is expected to bring together 468 international Scouts from 11 countries, alongside 5,005 Scouts from across Malaysia, making it a significant gathering for the scouting community.

We are proud of our six young Scouts as they take on this meaningful opportunity. May they carry their responsibility with discipline, commitment and pride, and be excellent ambassadors for W.P. Labuan and Labuan International School.

We wish the W.P. Labuan Scout Contingent every success and an enriching experience at the 15th Malaysian Jamboree!

What an amazing and memorable day at Labuan International School!
Our Traditional Games Competition brought together 22 wonderful families for an afternoon filled with laughter, teamwork, fun and healthy competition.

Families took part in a variety of exciting traditional games and activities, including:
🪵 Tug-of-War with Coconut Fronds (Tarik Upih)
👣 Race in Batik Cloth
🦶 Three-Legged Race (Ikat Kaki)
🧩 Malaysian Flag Puzzle
🏙️ Twin Towers Building Challenge
🎶 Patriotic Song Continuation Challenge

It was wonderful to see parents and children working together, cheering for one another and enjoying the spirit of togetherness. More than just a competition, this activity gave our families the opportunity to experience our Malaysian heritage and create beautiful memories together. 🇲🇾✨

KWSP held an engaging session with our Form 2 and Form 3 students, introducing them to the fundamentals of saving and financial management.

The session highlighted how developing good saving habits from a young age can help students make wiser financial decisions and prepare for their future. The interactive Q&A also made learning about financial responsibility fun and engaging.

A heartfelt thank you to KWSP for inspiring our students and helping us nurture financial awareness and lifelong money-management skills.
