LCDA Run ✔️
Lined up with the Kenyans knowing I couldn’t beat them, but still chose to chase my own race.
Showed up. Survived. Finished.

28 March Marian Run
29 March Ekiden Relay
It’s been a while since our last race, and unfortunately, the timing wasn’t ideal. I was going through that time of the month (again) just a day before my race, so I had to push through and do what I could. Even during the 10K Marian Run, I was really struggling just to make it to the finish line. I’m grateful that I still managed to complete it, despite how tough and uncomfortable it felt.
The very next day, I took part in my first ekiden relay. It wasn’t something I had originally signed up for. Only 2 weeks ago, a friend invited me to join the team. Looking back, I don’t think I had prepared enough for speed workouts, and my body wasn’t in its best condition. I felt heavy and couldn’t sprint the way I wanted to.
As the first runner for my team, I did feel a bit disappointed and even sorry for not performing at my best. But despite that, we showed great teamwork, and I truly believe that each of us gave our all.
At the end of the day, it’s not about winning, It’s about the effort we put in together as a team.
Thank you to my teammates for trusting me and for the support throughout...this experience means a lot. We'll come back stronger next time.

Runati Run 1.2.2026
5k-22:12
Position 2nd
Total distance -5.5km-25min+ no official time since I forgot to stop my watch.
First race of the year, I felt like my body had just been hit by a truck.
After recovering from a cold weeks ago, I pushed my body throughout the week.
So yesterday morning, I suffered during the run.
Still finish, forced my body to push all the way to the finish line.

An unforgettable first experience racing at high altitude and finally meeting Munduk Running Club - MRC teammates. Despite the unexpected challenges along the way, I’m grateful for the opportunity to test my limits, gain valuable experience, and grow through racing in a completely different environment. Competing at elevation and in cold conditions pushed me both physically and mentally, making this a journey of resilience, learning, and reflection. Fueled by amino VITAL Malaysia truly help me push through the mid-race bonk and kept going.
I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to our team manager and everyone involved who provide continuous support throughout this journey, from logistics and accommodation to meals and overall coordination. Your dedication and behind the scenes efforts made a meaningful difference. 🫰🏻
Special thanks as well to the event organizers BHMM Mesilou and photographers who dedicated their time and energy to ensure the event was executed smoothly and professionally.
The perfect race to exquisitely close out my racing year. 🤗

It’s never just about the ranking, it’s about that deep satisfaction of showing up and performing with heart. A good result isn’t defined by numbers, but by the spirit in you that rises, again and again. It’s the battle of you vs you that proved you’re stronger, sharper, and better yesterday. 🔥🔥🔥
After 3 consecutive years ran 10k for Serian eco, I finally decided to upgrade the distance 😂 I really don’t know what got into me when I signed up for 21k trail with less mileage within the month.
15 mins before the flagoff, my stomach suddenly hit the 'evacuate immediately' button and the toilet queue was longer than my mileage.lol
So I rushed to the starting line with like 3 minutes left. No warm-up. No mental prep. No thoughts. Flagoff time and I was like, wait what? Already??
Somewhere in the jungle section, I overshot the route, make it 23km in total. By km20, my calves went into emergency shutdown mode. Caught off guard... apparently I was in pain when the photographer snapped my photo, during the last km I guess?
Huge shoutout to the organizers for introducing the international category (with fair separate fees for local vs. international) so everyone benefits. It was a smart idea. Also, big thanks to all the crew and photographer!
Moral of the story:
Never disrespect the warm-up.
It will come back with a vengeance. 😆
