The shiny Brooke’s Birdwing dances in the air, the Lantern Bug’s show’s off its beautiful colours while the Draco Lizard glides from tree to tree. A Neon-Blue Legged Tarantula is hunting for food, while the still Long-Nosed Horned Frog disguises itself as a leaf. The Giant Pill Millipede rolls up like a ball, the Green Keeleed Pit Viper watches quietly, and the Bornean Short-Nosed Fruit Bat hangs upside down on a tree, taking a cozy rest. Together, they make the jungle feel alive and magical!

🔖來自砂拉越的祝福
Blessings from Sarawak

On the land of Sarawak in Borneo, forests, rivers, leaves, orangutans, Pua Kumbu, durians, sampans, Rafflesia, and the rhythms of life in Borneo are all brought to life through a series of pastel artworks.

In the process of creating these works, the artist finds inner stillness, drawing healing and inspiration from nature. This deck of cards carries the warmth of Sarawak and the power of the natural world—a gift to oneself, and a gentle blessing for anyone seeking comfort.

The creator, Manggo Tan, is the founder of Manggotree Art Space. Over the years, she has conducted art workshops that combine Zentangle, Japanese Pastel Nagomi Art, tea and coffee rituals, healing card practices, and beading. Through creative expression, she accompanies people on a journey to discover calmness and healing within themselves.

在婆罗洲砂拉越这片土地上，森林、河流、叶片、红毛猩猩、树织布（Pua Kumbu）、榴莲、舢板、大王花以及婆罗洲的生活气息，都被呈现在一幅幅粉彩画作里。

在艺术家创作的过程中，得到内心的平静，并从大自然中获得疗愈与启发。这套卡牌蕴蓄着砂拉越的温度，以及大自然的力量，是一份送给自己的礼物，也是送给每一位需要力量的人的小小祝福。

创作人Manggo Tan，是Manggotree Art Space的创办人，多年来透过画画工作坊结合禅绕画、日本和谐粉彩、茶道／咖啡道与疗愈牌卡、串珠等方式，陪伴人们在创作中找到平静与疗愈。

二、为了保留原书形貌、本次出版，一仍根植于原书扫敲制版，字体大小亦无变更，仅书籍开本略予增大；并于原书〈发凡〉之前，另作下列

增补：

1. 结合译着者简述、个人照片、手动物及原书封面照片。原书所附三代越王照片，其中模煳不清者，另觅较清晰相同的照片替换。

2.封面、版权页，为了配合重新出版要求，另行设计，但于书后保留了原书的版权页，供参考。原书省略了书名页，本次重版特供增补入。

【译著者简介】

林守駰（1880-1965），原籍福建省侯官县，福州英华书院毕业。1912年南渡，初至爪哇，翌年转至砂拉越，受聘为公立学校教师。1918年转调诗巫，历任法庭通译、树胶限制局官员。氏长期热心地方公益事业，战后荣获英皇颁赐M.B.E.勋衔，以表彰其功。除本书外，另编著有《诗巫俚句》。

The preservation of Chinese culture has long been rooted in the clan system, where surnames play a vital role. At the heart of this tradition lies the family name itself.

For years, calligrapher and sculptor Mr. Liu Wenbao has been creating works inspired by Chinese surnames and tanghao (ancestral hall names), aiming to rekindle an appreciation for cultural heritage through his art. These handwritten surnames, rendered in various calligraphic styles, are more than just art pieces with collectible value—they are destined to become treasured family heirlooms.

Since their debut at Pin Store, these surname calligraphy pieces have been warmly received. A new selection has arrived this week; check the list to see if yours is included. If not, you are most welcome to place a custom order.
