Sarawak Rugby at the One Year Countdown to SEA Games 2027

Sarawak Rugby Union was represented by Deputy President, Ahmad Yusof Shah, and Exco Member, Mohd. Ikmal Hisham, at the One Year Countdown to SEA Games 2027 ceremony held at The Spring Mall, Kuching on 18 September 2026.

Although the rugby competition will be contested under the Kuala Lumpur cluster, Sarawak Rugby remains committed to supporting the wider sporting movement and staying aligned with the state and national sports agenda.

Our presence reflects the importance of inclusivity, collaboration and unity across the sporting community, regardless of where each sport will be contested.

Sarawak Rugby is proud to be part of the journey towards SEA Games 2027 and to continue contributing to the collective growth of sport in Malaysia.

Together for sport. Together for Sarawak.

Congratulations and all the best for both Valerie Juan & Josie Mavcellina!

Strengthening Rugby Connections

Sarawak Rugby Union today welcomed Ravai Panapasa Antonio, Counsellor from the High Commission of the Republic of Fiji in Kuala Lumpur, during a visit to Song Kheng Hai Rugby Field, Kuching on 17 September 2026.

Sarawak Rugby was represented by Deputy President Ahmad Yusof Shah and Exco Member Mohd. Ikmal Hisham, together with members of KRFC and Wolfpack.

The visit provided a good opportunity to exchange ideas and explore potential future collaboration in areas such as coaching development, player exchange programmes and tournament-related initiatives.

Masih di peringkat awal, but it was a meaningful first conversation. Moga ada lebih banyak peluang untuk Sarawak dan Fiji berkongsi pengalaman, ilmu serta pembangunan ragbi pada masa akan datang.

Building connections, growing the game.

Selamat Hari Malaysia 2026

United Through Sport. United as Malaysians.

Daripada seluruh warga Sarawak Rugby Union, Selamat Hari Malaysia kepada semua rakyat Malaysia.
