Klang Valley’s shoegaze/alternative rock scene terus berkembang, and Crhura is one of the newer names making noise.

Dianggotai oleh Dhia, Pablo, Amier dan Dan, Crhura membina sound yang heavy dengan lapisan gitar penuh distortion dan reverb, creating a dense wall of sound that feels both crushing and ethereal at the same time. Bassline yang blazing dan drum yang hard-hitting bagi energy yang solid, sementara keseluruhan atmosfera muzik mereka terasa kabur, nostalgic dan emotionally raw.

Taking cues from Team Sleep, Whirr dan The Smiths, Crhura leans into that hazy, introspective space — balancing antara melody dan noise dengan cukup baik. Ada rasa dreamy, tapi tetap ada weight.

Baru-baru ini, mereka telah melancarkan dua single pertama berjudul “headache” dan “happy years old”, kini available di Spotify, YouTube dan Bandcamp. Kedua-dua lagu ini introduce identiti awal band ini — layered, moody dan unapologetically loud.

Dengan lebih banyak material baharu sedang dalam proses, Crhura mungkin antara nama yang patut diberi perhatian dalam gelombang shoegaze tempatan sekarang.

Quiet Abyss adalah sebuah band shoegaze/noise pop dari Kuching, terdiri daripada lima orang iaitu Sulia, Keyum, Arel, Along & Iq. Bunyi mereka menggabungkan distortion tebal, tekstur ambient yang luas, dan vokal yang penuh emosi, menghasilkan pengalaman muzik yang immersive dan berenergi.

Dipengaruhi oleh legenda antarabangsa seperti Slowdive (UK) dan My Bloody Valentine (Ireland), serta dua band dari Thailand — Slowwves (Thailand) & Death Of Heather (Thailand) — dan satu band dari Indonesia — Fleuro (Indonesia), Quiet Abyss membentuk identiti muzik tersendiri yang kadang dreamy, kadang intense, namun tetap memikat.

Lagu seperti “Drift Awake” dan demo “Paraklowra” di YouTube memberi gambaran awal tentang bunyi mereka. Gig pertama mereka pada bulan Mac ini dijangka membawa gelombang shoegaze segar ke scene muzik Sarawak.

RONCAS Lancar EP Terbaharu: “JAHAL”

Band alternatif tempatan Roncas dengan bangganya mengumumkan pelancaran EP terbaru mereka, “Jahal”, yang menampilkan 6 trek baharu dengan elemen psychedelic dan euphoric, menggambarkan perjalanan muzik mereka yang semakin matang. Setiap lagu menyampaikan emosi, perjuangan, kebebasan, dan harapan, daripada pembuka sinikal “Kisah Lembu” hingga penutup bertenaga “Pekerja Rencam”.

Pelancaran rasmi berlangsung di HooHaa Studio pada 8 September 2025, lengkap dengan visual psychedelic hasil karya Ilham Fadli, menonjolkan tema penyembuhan emosi melalui simbol botol ubat dan palet warna kelabu serta ungu.
