🌟 The Heart of a Promise, Now in Kuching 🌟
Some journeys are measured in distance. Others are measured in the love that carries them forward. 💛

At 66, retired engineer Lim Shyang Guey (SG Lim) didn't just complete a 2,200km run. He ran with a dream shared by his beloved wife, Goh Joo Lee, who lost her battle with gallbladder cancer in August 2024. Long before it was a nationwide campaign, it was a simple promise of companionship.

Throughout every step, SG Lim carried a photograph of Joo Lee close to his heart. With every sunrise and every ache, she remained his silent companion. What was once a shared dream became a tribute and a profound gift of hope for children battling their own toughest battles. His mission raised over RM775,000 for the National Cancer Society of Malaysia’s vital children's programs and served as the Torch Relay for Relay for Life Malaysia 2026. 🎗️

Now, that spirit of courage and love is coming to Kuching! We are honored to welcome SG Lim as the Golden Loop 5KM Charity Run Ambassador.

Let's keep the flame of hope burning bright and show our support for those continuing the fight. Join us to celebrate a morning of purpose, unity, and movement.
