Nestled right in the heart of Chinatown, this industrial-chic bookstore is a favourite for both locals and tourists. With towering shelves, hidden corners, and over 80,000 titles spanning fiction, art, design, and more.

We treated ourselves to the weekend Afternoon Tea at , Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, RM158 per person for a 3-course set that includes welcome cocktail, coffee, tea, and three chef’s special dishes exclusive to weekends.

💰Weekday price is RM128 per person, but if you’re here on a weekend, the upgrade is worth it. Serving from noon - 5pm.

What I loved most? It’s not just sweet cakes — the mix of savoury and sweet dishes made every bite exciting. And the daytime view from 38 floors up? Absolutely phenomenal.

Delighted we found ÊTRE Patisserie in KL, he wanted 'every cafe we visit to have its own unique vibe', and this one delivered. The setup is gorgeous, the pastry selection is irresistible, and everything tasted as beautiful as it looked. 🤩

Price-wise it’s pleasantly reasonable for the experience, which made the indulgence even sweeter ✨🥐🍰

- My picks: Petit Gáteaux (peach & pink guava), Kouign-Amann, sandos, quiche, savoury bites, and perfect lattes. All made for a leisurely, festive afternoon.

Dining 276m above Kuala Lumpur at Orbit Revolving Restaurant was a surreal experience.
The buffet was a crafted fusion of local and international flavours, where tradition met modern flair in every bite.
Watching the Petronas Twin Towers sparkle from above as the city slowly turned beneath us… unforgettable.
A must-do if you love seeing city lights dance at night 🌃🍽️

✨ Unexpected gem en route to Batu Caves!
We made a spontaneous stop at House of Wheat Cafe .cafe and were blown away.

Authentic vibes, cozy setting, and the food? Fresh, fast, and flavorful — everything came out in just 5 minutes and tasted like it was made to order.

Here’s what we had:
- 🦀 Chilli Crab & Eggs – RM27
- 🍝 Seafood Pasta Aglio Olio – RM31
- ☕ White Coffee – smooth and aromatic
- 🥐 Pastries – flaky and satisfying

Bonus: 🐱 Adorable cats and kittens lounging outside made the experience even sweeter.

It was such an amazing experience at Thousand Torii Gates⛩️. Very relaxing and therapeutic 😌

Text on the actual torii gates. This represents the name of the business donating to the shrine. The entire mountain and shrine is believed to contain over 10,000 gates of various sizes.⛩️

Just a tip, don't wear long sleeve clothes like i did if you are planning to go up the mountain. 🤣

There are a few souvenirs and charms shop as you are going up and down the track, will take about 2-3hrs to complete. The further you go up, the less tourists there will be if you want nice photos or video. There is also off the beaten track.
