We desire to have good braking system for all of the trucks, in order to minimise incidence of road accidents. For new acquisition of trucks, consideration is given to brake retarder, ABS and other failed safe systems. Imagine the number of trips on the road, most of the fleets are long haul, travelling mountainous terrains. Good braking system can reduce stress on the wheels and tyres.

Fleet maintenance team consists of electrician, welders and mechanics. Team performs routine maintenance, overhaul of engines, body paint, touch up, and breakdown repair jobs.

Down to memory lane : Fanmount acquired 12 units of Renault prime movers from 2004 to 2010. Their engine capacities ranging from 385 to 420HP. They were good prime movers but spare parts support was an issue, the company started to seek out for other alternative brands such as UD, Hino and CAMC . Because of Sabah poor road conditions, the company still prefers UD prime movers for power, efficient fuel consumption and easily available of spare parts. Since then Renault prime movers have been totally replaced by UD.
