Public speaking events like this are so important because they give our students real-life opportunities to practise confidence, communication and stage presence. It is also a meaningful way for parents and the community to see how our Active Talk Programme nurtures children to speak clearly, think confidently and express themselves with courage.

YX joined our programme when she was just 7 years old. At the beginning, she was shy and lacked confidence in speaking English. After an assessment and discussion with her parents, we recommended that she start in our Junior Class to build a strong foundation in reading and speaking.
With her hardworking attitude and willingness to learn, she practised consistently for two semesters and showed remarkable improvement. Today, she communicates fluently with our teachers in English and even confidently explains things to younger students. Watching her transformation has been truly rewarding, and we are incredibly proud of her progress π
