On 5th December 2022 IEEE UTP Student Branch with the support of E3S2 and IEEE RAS Malaysia chapter had organized a virtual session on Cyber-Crime and Cyber Security with Practical Hands-on Flavor by Engr. Abdinasir Hirsi Abdi who is Certified CCNA, NSE Cybersecurity Professional and currently working in Somtel Telecom Somalia as Core Network Engineer.
The session has been attended by several people around different countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, India and France. Here are few glimpses of this virtual interactive session.

Abdinasir Hirsi Abdi (Member IEEE: 97541484) is a core network engineer at Somtel Telecom and university lecturer (EAU & Gollis University), Somalia. He is CISCO and Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) certified professional bearing with professional experience in the field of Network Infrastructure/Security, ICT and Computer Networks. He is a Defensive Cybersecurity Enthusiast skilled in monitoring and securing data. He is passionate about Cybersecurity, Massive MIMO Systems, Channel Modeling, mm-Wave Communication Systems, THz Wave Communication Systems, 5G and B5G Wireless Communication Systems.

The first "𝐔𝐓𝐏 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐" was held on October 29, 2022, co-organized by the IEEE UTP Student Branch with huge support from UTP Squash Club. The finals were held on October 30, 2022, while the play-off rounds were held on October 29, 2022.
On behalf of our esteemed adviser, Dr. Illani Bt Mohd Nawi, Mr. Ghulam E Mustafa Abro, Chair IEEE UTP Student Branch, made his opening remarks and handed out the medals. Here are a few glimmerings of the competition.

Today on 17th October 2022, IEEE UTP Student Branch with the collaboration of IEEE RAS Malaysia Chapter and E3S2 Club had organized a physical training titled as "𝐏𝐂𝐁 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐤 𝐄𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐫. 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐈𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐚".
The workshop started with the welcome message by Ghulam E Mustafa Abro, Chair IEEE UTP Student Branch and concluded by Ms. Ch'ng Jing Ying, one of the executive members of IEEE UTP SB and event incharge. Here are few glimpses of the workshop.

IEEE UTP Student Branch with the collaboration of IEEE RAS Malaysia and Electrical and Electronic Engineering Student Society Club organized a session titled as "Essentials of Systematic Literature Review".
For this purpose, we invited Ir. Dr. Dur Muhammad Soomro, who is currently working as an Associate Professor at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia UTHM. This Session has been attended by several postgraduate students and research staffs around the globe.
