Spend a slow, easy afternoon with us at our Indigo Re-Dye Workshop. It’s a gentle, hands-on session where you can give an old shirt a new story, one dip at a time. We’ll have natural indigo and simple shibori tools ready for you to play with.
There’ll also be some homebaked butter cake and a choice of hot or cold drink to enjoy while things dry.
📍 Jari Reka, 14A, Jalan Dato Kathi, Kampung Bahru, Johor Bahru
Feel free to reach out for more booking details and session info.

I went to Sungai Congkak a few days ago, and something about the leaves caught me. I could already see them becoming something else.
A quiet structure, but still soft, still breathing.
This piece feels like a quiet meeting between structure and fragility. A dried leaf sits at the center, its veins exposed like a natural skeleton, slightly worn and broken in places.
When I got back to my friend’s place, I just sat with myself, letting the calm settle in, letting my mind drift a little. In that quiet, almost weightless space, this piece slowly came together like something found and quietly transformed, where decay, softness, and structure exist all at once.

A dress dyed slowly with time and tide.
Hand-dyed with natural algae and ketapang leaves, then deepened with iron, creating quiet, earthy tones that can never be repeated exactly the same way twice.
Designed with a light, natural ruffle that moves softly with the body. The textured fabric carries a raw, living feel — with subtle tie marks gently visible, telling the story of the dye process.
Finished with a hidden one-side pocket for quiet
practicality.
If it lingers with you, tell me.

An asymmetrical cotton top that doesn’t try to behave.
Loose, generous, and meant to move with the body rather than shape it. The drawstring detail lets it shift quietly—gathered or relaxed, worn off one shoulder or draped straight down. There’s no fixed way to wear it; it listens to how you feel that day.
Dyed slowly with tea leaves, iron, and rust, the surface carries uneven clouds of brown, smoke, and earth tones. No repeat, no symmetry. The marks feel almost like time settling into the fabric subtle, worn-in, a little wild. Each piece ends up with its own map.
Nearby, a quiet gathering of wild botanicals, noticed and gently collected by my friend .ijo.flowers , whose poetic eye finds beauty in what grows freely around the garden. I appreciate his creativity in shaping these small, wild moments into something to behold.

An easy, loose and flowing silhouette shaped by an asymmetrical cut that follows movement rather than structure. Long shoulder ties fall softly and can be adjusted or left to trail, giving the dress a gentle sense of freedom. A single side pocket is quietly tucked in for everyday ease.
The fabric is naturally dyed with algae and ciku leaves, using cloth I hand-dyed on Nikoi Island. Subtle earth tones and organic marks emerge through the process, each fold carrying traces of place, time, and slow, attentive making.

Cut in an easy A-line, this cotton cheongsam moves with a quiet sense of air and ease. The fabric is gently hand-dyed: indigo and turmeric wash the base, tea leaves are steam-printed to leave soft, drifting marks, and iron rust settles in naturally, never forced.
Each piece feels light on the body, carrying the calm rhythm of time, warmth, and breath.

This piece moves like a quiet landscape against the body, cut loose, asymmetrical, and softened by hand woven cotton fabric from Myanmar and dyed with black tea leaves in tones of earth, shadow, and air. Along the diagonal seam, hand-stitched job's tear seed trace a gentle line, like footsteps or seeds carried by time. Raw edges and visible stitches keep the making present, honest, and human.
It is not a garment that asks for attention, but one that stays with, meant to be worn slowly, lived in, and felt.
