Together We Re-Invent the Insurance Industry

Being in the insurance industry for 16 years, I’ve come to understand some basic practices, which I can never agreed upon. These commonly accepted practices or performances have somewhat form a negative impression and is the reason why insurance agents are having a hard time to achieve good results, despite sincerely working hard aiming to achieve good results. The practices and performances standard are:


  • LIMRA reportedly a standard closing ratio of 10:1. Meaning you have to prospect 10 person to close 1 case.

  • Insurance companies (some) have started to create very innovative “products”, which ultimately harms the clients more than help. (please check from the consumer perspective, not as an insurance person)

  • The general practices of selling insurance as a product is one-perspective planning without ever considering the real need of the customers.
