PAM CPD SEMINAR: GEORGE TOWN UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE – PRESERVING THE PAST, DESIGNING THE FUTURE BY MS. LEE TIT KUN

The recent seminar offered a comprehensive look at the evolution of heritage conservation in our city. Led by Ms. Lee Tit Kun, Pengarah Jabatan Warisan MBPP, the session drew on her 14 years of expertise in sustainable development and heritage conservation in key local projects like the Chowrasta Market, the Night Shelter, and PNBCAP.

A major focus was the introduction of the 2026 guidelines for the George Town World Heritage Site, which detail planning requirements and design expectations.

Preserving our UNESCO World Heritage is about more than just following rules; it is about protecting the soul of our city. The seminar underscored that while architects and planners lead the way in sensitive design, everyone plays a role in safeguarding our shared history for future generations.

By aligning with the Penang2030 vision, we can ensure George Town remains a sustainable, inclusive, and vibrant heritage landmark. Thank you to Ms. Lee for the informative session!

PAMNC CPD SEMINAR: SPATIAL CONNECTIVITY – THE ARCHITECTURE OF HUMAN CONNECTION IN THE WORKPLACE BY ADJ. PROF. IDR RONNIE CHOONG

What a fantastic morning at the courts! Our PAMNC Members 2026: Pickleball for Fun event was a hit, bringing our community together for a day of energy and teamwork.

Congratulations to the winners and well done for all who showed up! Beyond the competition, it was wonderful to see members from the PAMNC bonding and building meaningful connections through sports. From seasoned players to first-timers, everyone brought their A-game and a great spirit of camaraderie.

A Visit of Hope: PAMNC, MBPP, and SPEAD Team at Penang GH & NCSM Home of Hope

On March 16th, 2026, the PAM Northern Chapter (PAMNC), alongside MBPP and the SPEAD Team, spent a meaningful day visiting the Paediatric Cancer Ward at Penang General Hospital and the NCSM Home of Hope.

It was a deeply moving experience that touched our hearts. Seeing patients as young as newborns facing such immense challenges was a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit. To these brave young warriors and their families: we see your strength. Please never give up—we wish you a full and courageous recovery.

In the spirit of the upcoming Hari Raya season, the PAMNC 2025/2026 Committee members came together to personally contribute a total of RM5,000.

This donation was distributed to support the children and families at both the Penang GH Paediatric Cancer Ward and the NCSM Home of Hope, aiming to provide some comfort and festive cheer during their journey.

We extend our sincere gratitude to:
