On Saturday, 23 May 2026, PAM Northern Chapter hosted an incredibly enlightening half-day seminar, presented by Mr. Liew Kheag Hoong from NS BlueScope Lysaght Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. A huge thank you to our speaker for sharing his expertise on how informed roofing decisions shape architectural longevity.

The session was packed with invaluable insights divided into two core segments:

Part 1: A Comprehensive Guide to Roof Design and Material – Exploring the "Architecture of Eternity" through performance-driven design, structural detailing, corrosion protection, and understanding how lifecycle costs outweigh initial investments.

Part 2: A Visual and Design Guide to Standing Seam Roofs – Delving into the fundamentals of panel types, seam configurations, and design flexibility (from curved roofs to seamless detailing) through case studies.

Our attendees walked away with a wealth of knowledge on metal. We hope our architects and designers are inspired and able to apply this knowledge into their projects.
