SMSOB Otai Ruggers

Congratulations to all ruggers of SMSS Ardent batch 21-25 for their superb SPM result.

SMS Old Boys dominated the Open category with convincing wins against OPA, STIOBA and SMAP Labu before winning their quarterfinal against INTEK Old Boys. The boys went on to beat MCOBA in the semis before bringing back the cup after defeating SESMA Old Boys in the grand final. Unbeaten in their path to the Championship.

The U20 boys drew their 1st group game againts INTEGOMB Old Boys before topping the group with wins againts BOSS (SMS Banting Old Boys) and SUPERB. The boys then won against STAROBA in the quarterfinals and drew againts ASAS in the semi but took the game with the "who scored first rule" (WSF). The cup final against SEMASHUR was also a tie but this time the cup was awarded to SEMASHUR for the same WSF rule. Hard luck for the boys who costly missed an under the post penalty kick with seconds to spare. Also unbeaten for the tournament.

All in all, SMS Old Boys turned out superbly well and made us all proud.....since 1977.
