Advancing Sustainability Education through Strategic Partnership

04.06.2026 - We are delighted to share that SEAMEO RECSAM has formalised a collaborative partnership with The Habitat Foundation (THF) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at SEAMEO RECSAM, Penang on 4 June 2026.

This strategic partnership reflects our collective commitment to advancing sustainability education and creating meaningful impact for learners, educators, and communities through joint research and development activities, publications, capacity-building programmes, and community engagement initiatives.

This is also in line with the SEAMEO Education Agenda, that underscores Southeast Asia’s shared vision of integrating sustainability into education systems and equipping learners with the knowledge, values, and skills needed to navigate and contribute positively to a changing world.

We look forward to an inspiring and fruitful collaboration with THF in advancing sustainability education for learners, educators, communities, and the SEAMEO region as a whole.

The Learning Science and Mathematics (LSM) Journal (e-ISSN: 2637-0832), published by SEAMEO RECSAM, invites practicing classroom teachers, pre-service and in-service teachers, teacher educators, researchers, policymakers, and educational practitioners to submit manuscripts for its upcoming issue.
