Half-Day Forest School: Wilderness Cooking Workshop

Participants embarked on an immersive wilderness cooking experience, beginning with firewood collection and learning the essentials of firewood processing and fire safety. They then practiced the fundamental skills of fire-building, ensuring a steady and controlled flame. Once the fire was established, they prepared ingredients and cooked a meal in a cast-iron pot, carefully placing it in the fire to slow-cook, enhancing both their outdoor survival skills and appreciation for traditional cooking methods.

Hammock setup in the wild. From a free standing bamboo hammock system without any anchor pack support , hammock frame without rope just using bamboo as nails , using fallen tree branches as hammock frame , setting up hammock in a 30 % slope without digging a hole and using 3:2:1 anchor system to support the entire frame .
