PETRONAS established the Composite Repair Integrity Management System (CoRIMS) to provide the guidance and direction
in managing the integrity of composite repairs for PETRONAS operation groupwide. This includes the enhancement of governance
for installation and operation of composite repairs, inspection tool evaluation for composite repairs, development of risk-based
approach (RBI-C ©), systematic evaluation of composite repair products, and competency enhancement of the relevant personnel.

Meet our speaker, Mr. Lee Lai Kin from Dialog Group Berhad!

He is an engineer with a fascinating background in both fundamental and intricate engineering design work. He completed more than 40 tank design projects using his experience in analytical design, including 3 Double Floating Roof tanks with a 450,000 bbl capacity, 2 Dome Roof Tanks, 15 Cone Roof Tanks, and more than 20 Rectangular and Tote Tanks in accordance with API 650, ASME VIII, Roarks Formulas for Stress and Strain, Design Engineering Practise (DEP), and Petronas Technical Specification (PTS).

Meet our speaker, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norhisham Bakhary from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)!

He currently works as a fellow at the Institute of Noise and Vibration, located at the UTM City Campus in Kuala Lumpur. His specialties include earthquake engineering, structural damage detection, vibration, and structural dynamics. In national and international scientific journals, as well as conference proceedings, he has written more than 100 academic papers.

As Materials, Corrosion & Inspection Engineer cm QAQC Engineer, Mr. Wan Syazwan provided his expertise on the requirements for all disciplines (Mechanical, Piping, Structural and Pipeline) during Front End, EPCIC (Engineering, Construction, Installation & Commisioning), Handover and Operation stage for Sour and Non-sour fields projects. Based on his extensive experience in Oil and Gas industry, specifically Materials, Corrosion, and Inspection (MCI) Department, Mr. Wan Md Syazwan will share on the Opportunity to reduce Carbon through mechanized welding technology for Onshore Pipeline Construction.

Meet our speaker, Mr. Leow Chun Ho from Shell Malaysia!

Leow Chun Ho joined Sarawak Shell Berhad in 2014 as a Materials Corrosion and Inspection (MCI) engineer. He has been involved in various Sarawak Malaysia Exploration and Production (SMEP) projects as an MCI matrix support for various projects such as deepwater Gumusut-Kakap, E06, Timi, Rosmari & Marjoram. He has been supporting Sarawak Assets & Operations, SCEPCO China, and Brunei Shell Petroleum as well. Besides that, Mr Leow Chun Ho is certified as a NACE Corrosion Technologist and an active member of the Institute of Materials Malaysia (IMM).

Meet our speaker, Mr. Ivan Chong from Johnson Controls!

Started as a hands-on technical engineer, Mr. Ivan Chong currently serves as the senior manager for driving Digital and Industrial smart building solutions at Johnson Controls. With over 25 years of experience in Building Solutions, his professional expertise span across commercial and critical environment facilities in life science manufacturing, R&D, and BSL3/4 in the East and Southeast Asia. Mr Ivan Chong had worked with global-local industry leaders including Amgen, Wyeth, J&J, Pharmaniaga, among others. His extensive work also includes project deliverables for Smart Building and Qualified system adhered to GEP and GMP compliance requirements. Furthermore, his previous roles in Siemens and Honeywell pioneered the life science vertical market expansion in the region.

Mr Ivan Chong’s academic background includes an MBA from the University of Sunderland (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree (Magna cm Laude) in Computer Science and Statistics from Campbell University (USA).
