Big Hips Red Lips

Yesterday I celebrated 5 years sober. My journey into sobriety was quiet, something I originally tried on out of curiosity. In my years since, it’s become a necessity. Something that has taught me presence and patient and more importantly, the joy of feeling it all. Before my sobriety, I lived a life of chasing endless numbing. I wanted to escape my life. In the last five years, I’ve learned how beautiful it is to feel it all. The good, the bad, the places in between.

I’m so thankful for my sobriety and what it’s taught me. I’m even more thankful for my friends for showing up and celebrating with me in the big, loud way I’ve learned to live life. Each one has helped get me through another day and to them, I can only say thank you a million times over.

I am so thankful to be on this journey and so thankful for another day sober.

NYC DAY THREE PHOTO DUMP 🍎
From the Bronx to Brooklyn, no other city gives me this much motivation to just do it. I spent the day exploring old neighborhoods, meeting an old friend and finally meeting my manager in person. I could have spent a whole week here, but I know I will in the near future! Ps, nyc makes me brave enough to wear the clothing I may think twice about at home and I’m living for it!

I’m back in the city I love so so so much and this time I’m staying with my dear friend in the Bronx. What a joy it is to know and love this city so well.

I wanted to keep my first day easy so Jessica and I went to Arthur Ave in the Bronx, which apparently is where the real little Italy is. Absolutely agree and will continue to visit .nyc whenever I come back here. My god that was some of the best Italian I’ve ever had and now I want to try everything!! You MUST go!

Anyways this is a short and sweet trip. I’m so lucky and grateful to be able to be able to travel so much this year and I cannot wait to show you what I get up to! Ps, how much do we love this head to toe fit?
