Some birds don’t just beat the heat, they leverage it! Have you ever seen a bird lying in the sun with its wings outstretched like the Blue Jay here? It may look like they're in distress, but they're just fine. They're spreading their wings to get their feathers VERY hot to get rid of parasites. Who knew purging parasites could look so beautiful?
