La Visión Crítica de Seguridad (VCS) es un método para la identificación del conducto cístico y de la arteria cística durante la colecistectomía laparoscópica. Su objetivo es prevenir la identificación errónea del conducto biliar común, o de conductos aberrantes, en lugar del conducto cístico, y evitar la lesión de la vía biliar. la VCS debería ser considerada como el gold standard entre las técnicas quirúrgicas para la evaluación de la anatomía biliar, durante la colecistectomía laparoscópica.
