This was part of our learning visit on Community Outreach for HIV services with Nancholi Youth Organisation in Blantyre

Development Concept with funding from The Egmont Trust is implementing Integrated Aprroaches for Community Empowernment Project in TA Nkula in Machinga District. One of the interventions is Village Savings and Loans promotion and one of our groups has completed the cycle and is sharing out the money. From the initial MWK300,000+ in the first year in 2022 now they are sharing MWK10,000,000.00+. They are 31 members and this to us is a great empowernment to the commjnity...

STANDING STRONG WITH OUR COMMUNITIES

Under the Egmont Trust-funded Integrated Approaches for Community Empowerment project, our Development Concept officers today hosted a vital academic performance review with patrons and matrons at Bisa primary in Machinga . We also visited families whose homes collapsed in heavy rains, assessing impacts and witnessing first hand vulnerability caused. Resilience in action! 💪

We are still having a busy Rainy season to ensure we contribute to poverty reduction and attainment of community empowerment
