LUANAR ODEL COHORT 19 MATURE AND GENERIC ENTRY SELECTION

The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) is pleased to announce the release of the selection list for successful candidates admitted to various programmes under the Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) mode for the 2025/2026 academic year. This includes both Generic (Year 1) and Mature Entry (Years 2 and 3) candidates.

Orientation and Opening Date
A mandatory two-week orientation and facilitation session will commence on 4th AUGUST 2025.
Year 1 students will report at Bunda College.
Years 2 and 3 students will attend sessions at the LUANAR ODeL Centre in Area 48, Lilongwe.

Candidates are responsible for arranging their own transport, meals and accommodation during the orientation period.

Tuition Fees and Payment Details

The tuition fee for all programmes is MK550,000 per year or MK275,000 per semester. Payments should be made to the following account:

Please ensure your registration number is clearly indicated on the deposit slip, as outlined in your admission letter.

Important Notice
Do not send money to individuals claiming to represent LUANAR. The university does not accept payments via Airtel Money or TNM Mpamba, and does not call students to request fee payments.

The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) ODeL is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic year which will commence in July 2025.

Those selected to study the following programmes should report in July 2025 (actual dates will be communicated in due course):

2. Bachelor of science in food science and technology year 3
3. Bachelor of science in Agriculture year 3

All other programmes will still open on 3rd February 2025.
