Ladder to Learning
We are working to amplify the learning experience in public primary schools through after school programs that complement the core curriculum in Malawi.
At Ladder to Learning, behind every learner’s progress is a supportive teacher, community champions, our partners and our partner school communities playing their part. Together, we continue to strengthen learning outcomes and build lasting impact.

Our Literacy Hubs are creating structured spaces where learners can build strong literacy skills beyond the classroom.
Through guided sessions and consistent support, we are strengthening how learning happens at the community level.

Girl Power!💪
As we continue celebrating women and girls this month, we recognise that expanding meaningful learning opportunities also means addressing the barriers that keep girls out of the classroom.
At Ngwenya Primary School, 57 girls received reusable sanitary pads alongside guidance on hygiene and self-care, support that helps them stay in school and participate with confidence.
At L2L, we believe that improving literacy goes hand in hand with creating the conditions that make learning possible.

Driving Inclusive Education Conversations 📚
Last week, Ladder to Learning was proud to participate in the National Girls Education Network (NGEN) stakeholders meeting in Dowa, alongside partners dedicated to advancing girls’ education in Malawi.
Our Programs Manager, Tadeyo Weluzani, represented L2L and shared our work on child protection and safeguarding, career guidance, motivation sessions, and menstrual hygiene support, key efforts toward creating safe, inclusive learning environments for every learner.
Together with our partners, we remain committed to a future where every child, especially girls, has the opportunity to learn and thrive.
