Today, I have the honour of serving as Director of Ceremonies at the launch of three landmark national environmental documents by the Ministry of Natural Resources:

• The Third National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP III) 2025–2035
• The National Ecosystems Assessment Report
• The 7th National Report to the Convention on Biological Diversity

Held under the theme:

“Science, Strategy, and Action – Securing Malawi’s Biodiversity for Future Generations.”

This is more than an event. It is a national call to protect Malawi’s natural heritage, strengthen sustainable development, and safeguard the ecosystems that support millions of livelihoods.

Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an important national conversation.

I am an excellent Director of Ceremonies, an amazing Event Planner and an outstanding Team Building Facilitator.

I retired as an Accountant in 2024 to venture into business and a career I am very passionate about

Here is what I have learnt over the past years

Success is not always loud.

Sometimes it looks like:
• Showing up when no one is clapping for you
• Staying consistent when results are slow
• Choosing discipline over excuses
• Believing in your vision even when others don’t see it yet

What I have learnt in my career is that every great journey has moments of doubt, delay, and difficulty. But those moments are not there to stop you, they are there to shape you.

Keep building. Keep Learning. Keep growing

Because you know what? One day the same people who questioned your process will celebrate your results.

Today, I am honored to host the close-out event of the Business Acceleration for Youth (BA4Y) Project by the Alliance Bioversity & CIAT and CGIAR.

This is more than just an event, it’s a celebration of youth entrepreneurship, resilience, and the power of enterprise to create jobs and transform livelihoods.

Looking forward to engaging conversations, shared insights, and shaping what comes next for young entrepreneurs.

Also in the next room is my colleague Cynthia Zonde Zulu hosting a function as well. I said we are two of the best female Corporate DCs in the land and we have both been nominated for the Consumer Choice Award, why don’t we pose for the camera ☺️
