The insightful discussions led by Miracle Nakhuwala and Gift Kamangira in Collaboration with MIND Malawi were a vital step towards creating more inclusive and supportive environments for all. Mental health is defined by World Health Organization (WHO) as a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stresses of life, realize their abilities, learn well and work well, and contribute to their community.

Although most people are resilient, people who are exposed to adverse circumstances – including poverty, violence, disability and inequality – are at higher risk of developing a mental health condition.

This and every day, join us in prioritizing mental health as a fundamental aspect of human development. Together, let’s create environments that nurture mental well-being for all.
