CMD embarks on Training of Political Party Representatives in Election Monitoring
The Centre for Multiparty Democracy (CMD) has embarked on a series of Training of Trainers (ToT) for Political Party representatives in Election Monitoring.
The training is aimed at equipping poll agents with knowledge and skills to safeguard the vote.
In addition, the sessions are crucial in acquainting the Political Party representatives with Gender responsive election Monitoring.
The target participants are representatives from Political Parties under CMD namely AFORD, DPP, MCP, PP, UDF and UTM.
It is worth noting that Monitoring enhances transparency and credibility of elections, ensures that election processes are observed and builds confidence in the electoral process.
This initiative is being held with support from UNDP Malawi and UN Women Malawi under the Malawi Electoral Support Project (MESP).
