Malawi (DOI) presented to the global community the efforts on irrigation development in the country through a panel discussion at COP27 being held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The presentation was made on the theme "Making climate investments work for vulnerable communities" . Malawi and Ethiopia were picked as case studies through IFAD support.
Today, the 30th November, 2016 is the day the National Irrigation policy has been officially launched by the State president of Malawi.
