Community Rise Organization

Today the 6th June, Community Rise Organization team through Mzimai Odzidalira program organized a demonstration for the newly Solar Water Pumps. The initiative is being funded with 한국희망재단 . These are the efforts of empowering marginalized women to be self reliance through smart Agriculture. In total, 100 families under Traditional Authority Nkanda in Mulanje.

The program also contribute towards ending child marriages by enabling families have enough support for their girl child.

Through Mzimai Odzidalira, with support from 한국희망재단 we are empowering women who are mothers of children under Girls Safe Space in Mulanje to be economically empowered through local led solutions. In the second year, we are expanding the smart agriculture component by using Solar Irrigation. Through this, women are growing vegetables, tomatoes and the like. Now, they have already started growing. They are taking advantage with the current moisture.

Mzimai Odzidalira is not just a program, but also beacon of hope for these women and their girl child. Again it's a contribute to access to education and ending child marriages.
