Chisomo's Sign Language Journey at – Documentary Series.
In this part of the documentary, the Associate Pastor of Capital City Baptist Church, Pastor Jimmy Phiri shares how the church identified a communication gap that left Deaf people sidelined from fully participating in worship and church activities.
This story reflects how one person's journey in Sign Language from is creating lasting change and making the Church more accessible to everyone.

At , we train hearing people to become sign language users and interpreters, while also empowering Deaf individuals to become sign language interpreters in addition to being sign language users
Chisomo Jester is one of our success stories. She started her sign language journey at in 2021 and has grown into one of Lilongwe's respected sign language interpreters.
This documentary has been interpreted into sign language by Joseph Sagawa, a Deaf Sign Language Instructor and Interpreter at SLID.
