What an incredible weekend π
Hereβs the full highlights video from the very first Lean Startup Lab β Malaysia Edition, organised in partnership with Asia Pacific University (APU) & MSA APU
From idea validation and customer discovery to teamwork, pitching, mentorship, and nonstop collaboration β this edition brought together passionate students and innovators ready to turn ideas into action.
The energy, creativity, and friendships built throughout the weekend made this experience truly special. Huge thanks to everyone who participated and supported the journey.

Maldives-based startup ecosystem builder SparkHub has successfully conducted the Lean Startup Lab β Malaysia Edition, a 48-hour entrepreneurship bootcamp aimed at equipping Maldivian students abroad with practical startup and innovation skills.
Held from May 23 to 26 in partnership with Asia Pacific University (APU) and the Maldives Students Association of APU, the programme brought together 30 students β including 28 Maldivians and two international participants β from four leading Malaysian universities.
Participants represented Asia Pacific University, Sunway University, Taylorβs University, and Monash University Malaysia. Throughout the intensive workshop, students were introduced to lean entrepreneurship concepts through hands-on activities focused on validating business ideas, identifying customer needs, and developing practical startup solutions.
Day 1 of the first Lean Startup Lab β Malaysia Edition has been an exciting and inspiring experience. Brought in partnership with Asia Pacific University & Maldives Students Association of APU.
The day brought together students, aspiring founders, and innovators to collaborate, challenge ideas, validate assumptions, and explore real-world problem-solving through the Lean Startup methodology.
It has been encouraging to witness the level of engagement, creativity, and teamwork throughout the sessions and workshops.
Looking forward to seeing how the ideas and teams continue to evolve on Day 2. π

It was a pleasure to be part of the Conference this year and contribute to the Salla Pitch initiative by supporting the team with the Salla program and conducting pitch workshops for the selected finalists.
We are also proud that our community leader Hassan Jundow, joined the final Salla Pitch segment as one of the judges.
Excited to see how these ideas evolve into impactful ventures and achieve their goals.
