🇬🇧 Pink skies, turquoise water, and our baby in our arms… 💕🌊 This is the first trip where it really feels like it’s not just us enjoying it, the baby is genuinely so happy too! I don’t know if it’s because he’s a little older now or because he already knows how to recognize the really good things in life 🙊 The only sad part is knowing he probably won’t remember any of this, but his parents are making sure to capture enough memories so he can relive these moments when he’s older 🫶

🇵🇹 Céus cor-de-rosa, água turquesa e o nosso bebé nos braços… 💕🌊 Esta está a ser a primeira viagem que sentimos que não somos só nós a aproveitar, o bebé está realmente feliz! Não sei se é por estar mais crescido ou porque já sabe reconhecer o que é realmente bom 🙊 Só tenho pena que ele não se vá lembrar, mas os pais estão a fazer registos suficientes para quando ele for mais crescido voltar a reviver estes momentos 🫶

🇬🇧 Traveling to the Maldives with our 11-month-old 🤍✈️ We were a bit nervous about such a long trip… but it turned out to be so much smoother than we expected! We chose night flights and honestly… best decision. He slept almost the entire journey (we didn’t 😅), but it made everything so much easier 🙏 I packed way too many toys to keep him entertained… and still wasn’t sure which one he’d want 🥹 Same with food: I always bring easy snacks he knows and loves, plus soup (we ask the crew to warm it up for him). Traveling with a baby can be exhausting… but seeing him so happy the moment we arrived is the best feeling 🥹🤍 If you’re thinking about traveling with your baby… just go ✨ If you have any questions, let me know in the comments, I’ll do my best to help 🫶

🇵🇹 Viajar para as Maldivas com o nosso bebé de 11 meses 🤍✈️ Estávamos um bocadinho nervosos por ser uma viagem tão longa… mas acabou por ser muito mais tranquila do que estávamos à espera! Escolhemos voos noturnos e, honestamente… foi a melhor decisão. Ele dormiu quase a viagem toda (nós não 😅), mas fez toda a diferença 🙏 Levei brinquedos a mais para o entreter… e mesmo assim nunca sabia qual é que ele ia querer 🥹 Com a comida faço igual: levo sempre snacks com fartura que ele já conhece e gosta, e sopa (pedimos à tripulação para aquecer a bordo). Viajar com um bebé pode ser mais cansativo… mas vê-lo tão feliz assim que chegámos compensa tudo 🥹🤍 Se estás a pensar viajar com o teu bebé a minha dica é: vai só ! ✨ Se tiveres alguma dúvida, deixa aqui nos comentários que tento ajudar o melhor que conseguir 🫶

🇬🇧 How is he already 11 months?! 🐣🎂 The last little cake marking each month, closing one of the most challenging and at the same time most wonderful years of our lives… 💛 Our baby is already so grown 🥹 But no matter how much time passes, I’ll still be here in my “mama duck” version: always right behind him, wanting to protect him from everything and everyone 🙈
It fills me with so much pride to see every new milestone, every tiny bit of progress… but there’s also something bittersweet about it all… Because as much as we want to watch him grow, we also wish we could freeze time just a little longer 🥹

🇵🇹 Como assim… 11 meses?! 🐣🎂 O último bolinho de cada mesinho, a fechar um dos anos mais desafiantes e, ao mesmo tempo, mais maravilhosos da nossa vida… 💛 O nosso bebé já está tão crescido 🥹 Mas passe o tempo que passar vou continuar aqui numa versão meio “mãe pata”: sempre atrás dele, a querer protegê-lo de tudo e todos 🙈 É um orgulho imenso ver cada nova conquista, cada evolução pequenina… mas também há algo de agridoce nisto tudo. Porque ao mesmo tempo que queremos vê-lo crescer, também queríamos parar o tempo só mais um bocadinho 🥹

Sometimes, they’re simple homes with stories on the walls. It’s trading endless buffets for a basket of homemade bread. Finding more animals than people.
