For 30 years in Mauritius, has been privileged to rely on the dedicated voluntary commitment of members of its National Steering Committee 🇲🇺. Their passion and expertise continue to guide meaningful environmental action across the island. Our gratitude goes to them🙏🏼
Today the SGP NSC & National Coordinator, Government officials and NGO members carried out a site visit on the South Coast, observing ongoing restoration efforts and exchanging with stakeholders on the importance of protecting and restoring the island’s unique native coastal ecosystems. 🌿
Regenerating these fragile ecosystems is key to safeguarding Mauritius’ biodiversity and resilience for future generations.

🌿 Agroécologie en action à Maurice !
Ce vendredi 27 février 2026, la Chambre d’Agriculture de l’île Maurice a organisé une session de formation dans le cadre de la phase 3 du projet Smart Agriculture.
📍 La formation, tenue au Holiday Inn Mauritius Mon Trésor, a réuni 18 agriculteurs bénéficiaires et les partenaires techniques, avec l’intervention d’expertes du et du .
Au programme :
✅ Lutte intégrée contre les ravageurs
✅ Biodiversité fonctionnelle et régulation naturelle
âś… Reconnaissance des auxiliaires
✅ Réduction de l’usage des pesticides
Après 13 visites de terrain réalisées en une semaine, des recommandations personnalisées seront proposées aux planteurs pour renforcer la résilience et la productivité durable de leurs parcelles 🌱
