RX Racing Team

Yesterday, we made it back to parc fermé after four long days of rallying.
From the slalom shakedown at Bagatelle to the fog and rain in the mountains, every stage had its own challenges and lessons.

It’s been a long road since the last time, and seeing the RX-8 cross the final finish line meant a lot.

Our assistance crew worked tirelessly to keep the car running through it all.
A heartfelt thank you to , who helped source every single part we needed, repaired our power-steering failure mid-rally that would have otherwise ended our race, and shared his advice and experience throughout the event.

I’m also grateful to Akash Pazal for his guidance and mentorship throughout the stages as co-pilot, and to all the teams who offered help, encouragement, and advice along the way — and to our sponsors, EuroPerformance and Volk's Alignment & Tire Centre, for helping us get the car ready on time.

A big thank you as well to our friends, family, and everyone who supported us through the long days — and to the MRC team for making it all possible and continuing to grow this motorsport in Mauritius.

We’re finishing this rally humbled, thankful, and motivated to keep moving forward — one step at a time.

Cet événement marquera le coup d'envoi de la cinquième et ultime manche du championnat, qui se déroulera du 6 au 9 novembre 2025.

Le Motor Racing Club réalise là une première historique en organisant un tel événement, rendu possible grâce au soutien de ses partenaires.

This wasn’t how we imagined our first post to be.

During today’s rally, we lost the rear while exiting a corner and went off. Thankfully, we both walked away without a scratch. The safety equipment inside the car did its job, and we’re very grateful for that.

The RX8 has taken some damage. It looks repairable, but with the resources we have, getting it back on the road (again) will take time.

Motorsport can be tough. We’ve put a lot into this car, and we’re heartbroken to see it like this—but that’s part of the sport. We’ll take some time to reflect and figure out how we can bring the car back, when the time is right.

Thank you to everyone who supported us—especially the MRC - Motor Racing Club team who ensured we were well taken care of afterward. And to all the supporters who came to check on us, and everyone who helped get the car back home—we’re truly touched. It means more than we can say.
