Welcome to the new Utina Diving!

After the 18 happy years of Sally and Neil, we’re very happy to continue the story of Utina Diving.

Who are we?

Aaron Ströber and Marion Pithon, we’re both passionate divers and Gozo lovers. Aaron is from Germany and Marion from France, we discovered this little island some years ago and fell in love with it, its beauty underwater also plays a lot in it. Our approach with Utina will remain the same: Enjoyable diving in a relaxed and safe way, while getting the most out of the time underwater. We know that for Sally and Neil, their customers are not just customers, they became friends and part of the “Utina diving family”. We want to keep this spirit, be part of it and make Utina as a second home (but we guess that for some of you it is already and we’ll do our best to keep it as your “Home of Diving”).
We are so grateful that Sally and Neil gave us this honour to continue with Utina Diving and we appreciate their support in the future. They will still be around and we know how much they’ll love to have you and to keep diving with you.
At the moment we’re starting to work on Utina to give it a new look for 2024 as we want to be ready to welcome you in the same place but with a new design!

Meet the founder 🌈 Maria Mangion is a Maltese writer and artist.

⚫ She studied, worked, lived and breathed Glasgow for almost 3 years before embarking on the journey of creating this project.

⚫ After stumbling upon the statistical "Glasgow effect" in the adoptive city she adored, she was inspired to investigate its underlying causes and weave new threads of understanding between disciplines, especially in the arts, that lead to individual and collective healing.

⚫ In service of this goal, the project offers a residency for artists on the Mediterranean island of Gozo, art retreats, online and offline events and activities, and a community arts platform showcasing the totality of this work.
