Whatever season you are visiting Gozo in, there is always plenty to do and see! Be it religious, cultural, relaxation or simply enjoying natural scenery, Gozo has it all!

Qala is one of them most prestigious localities in Gozo sought after for its breath taking scenes from the Qala Belvedere and from the small courtyard in front of the church known as Il-Madonna tal-Blat (Our Lady of the Rocks).
Qala's coastline is a rocky trek to which nature and history both have contributed a great deal. Natural gifts include several caves, the prettiest of which is Għar Minka, which is accessible only by boat.
The coastline around Qala is largely rocky, but offering some really excellent walks, as well as wonderful views of Malta and Comino. There are a few sheltered inlets, one being the secluded bathing spot at Ħondoq ir-Rummien. There are many sites of historical interest here, such as the salt pans, the islands best preserved windmill and prehistoric remains.
In the Church square (walking distance from the penthouse), there are also a number of genuine restaurants offering traditional Maltese and Gozitan cuisine at very reasonable prices.
Access around Gozo can be gained by Public transport, which can be boarded from the Church square in Qala. Most routes in Gozo lead you to Victoria - the capital of Gozo.
Qala is also very close (5 minutes by car), to the Mgarr port (which is the pick up and drop-off point for crossings between Malta and Gozo).

Gozo and Malta are renowned for their excellent, genuine cuisine which can be found across most restaurants on the Island. Whether you are looking to indulge in traditional Mediterranean cuisine or even if you are after a light snack, Gozo is the perfect choice!
