Baden Powell Scouts Malta

Scout Leaders from Baden Powell Scouts Malta took part in a specialised training with Kayak Gozo. They practiced real‑life scenarios and rescue manoeuvres, building confidence and safety skills for supervising youth in water activities.

🇲🇹 George Mangion, Training & International Commissioner of Baden Powell Scouts Malta, represented Malta at the Erasmus+ Youth Citizenship Training in Hungary (20–25 May 2026).

🌍 Organised by CARAVELA – Associação para a Cidadania Europeia, the programme united youth workers from seven countries for cultural exchanges, EU seminars, and workshops on green tools and active citizenship.

His participation highlights Malta’s commitment to empowering youth workers and fostering international cooperation through Scouting and Erasmus+.

No participation fees – co‑funded by Erasmus+!

A big thank you to Aġenzija Żgħażagħ for their support and funding, which enabled us to purchase new speakers and microphones for our federation.

These upgrades will make a real difference during our activities, meetings, and events — helping us communicate clearly, engage our young people better, and create a more vibrant atmosphere for everyone involved.
