📈 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡: €𝟔.𝟓 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧

That’s the value of Malta’s GDP during the second quarter of 2026, according to provisional figures published by the National Statistics Office.

Compared with the same period in 2025, GDP increased by €417.1 million, representing 6.8% nominal growth and 4.5% growth in volume terms.

Domestic demand was the main contributor to growth, while the services sector continued to perform strongly, particularly:

💼 Financial & Insurance Activities: +12.2%
💻 Information & Communication: +9.2%
🔬 Professional, Scientific & Technical Activities: +7.5%
