1986/1991 I formed part of the Orchestra Sinfonica del Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini in Palermo, playing in several prestigious theatres and auditoriums like:
- Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania,
- Teatro Vittorio Emanuele in Messina,
- Teatro Trieste in Caltanissetta,
- Teatro Golden in Palermo ( e Concert was called “Amici della Musica”),
-Teatro Metropolitan in Palermo (A tribute to Ravel e Gershwin for their ftieth anniversary),
- Assembly Hall, University of Malta, Msida (Malta),
1988/1992 I formed part of the Orchestra da Camera “Gli Armonici” participating in over a hundred concerts. e following are the most important performances:
- 39th Sagra Malatestiana in Rimini,
- Tournée in Belgium (Brussels “Istituto Italiano di Cultura”; Charleroi: “Teatro Comunale”; Mons: “Sala Accademica dell’Università di Stato”),
- e rst Italian performance of “I Mosaici di Piazza Armerina” composed by Carlo Florindo Semini (a Swiss composer)
- e rst universal performance of “Policromie” di C.F. Semini.
1989 I have performed with the Orchestra Estense in Ferrara at the “Festival Musicale dello Ionio” in Acireale (CT).
1989/90 I have taken part in master classes at the “Scuola di Musica” in Fiesole, and I have been part of the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana under the baton of M° Piero Bellugi, performing at the Teatro Giulio Cesare in Rome and Florence (Santo Stefano al Ponte).
1991 I have taken part in concerts across all Sicily with the Orchestra della “Fondazione G. Arnone” with the E.A. Teatro Massimo in Palermo.
- I have performed with the Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana taking part during the operatic season at the Teatro Sociale in Como, at the symphonic concert of “Omaggio a Dvòrak” in the “Sala Verdi” in Milan, and during the summer operatic season in Taormina (Teatro Greco), in Milazzo and in Trapani.
1992 I won the audition and for three months I was part of the Orquesta Sinfonica de Galicia (Spain) playing at various concerts in all Galizia ( e Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Orense, Ferrol, Lugo, Pontevedra, Pontedeume, Ribadeo, Lalin, Ponteareas, Vigo, Betanzos), including a recital with Placido Domingo in the “Praza do Obradoiro” in Santiago de Compostela.
- I also performed some concerts with the “Nuovo Trio Barocco” at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, and also performed with the “Camerata Barocca Siciliana” where I played for the “Amici della Musica” in Siracusa.
1993 I won the audition at the Teatro Bellini in Catania.
- I formed part of the string section with the “Citta di Palermo” taking part in some concerts with the E.A. Teatro Massimo in Palermo.
- I won an audition and for a month I played with the Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese participating at a concert “Omaggio a Cajkovskij nel centenario della morte” held at the Teatri Comunali in L’Aquila and in Teramo.
1993/1997 I formed part of the Chambers Orchestra “Kandinskij”, taking part in the “Festival Organistico Siciliano” and at the Festival “Suoni del Novecento” for the E.A. Teatro Massimo in Palermo.
1998 I formed part of the Symphonic Orchestra “Aurora” (founded by Renato Zero) and performed at a concert in Teatro Don Orione in Palermo, with Mariella Nava, Gatto Panceri and Vincenzo Incenzo.
- I have been called to take part in several theatrical performances even with the
Orchestra dell’Ente Luglio Musicale in Trapanese.
- I have performed 6 concerts with the Orchestra della Provincia di Trapani under the baton
of M° Eliodoro Sollima.
2000 I was part of the Italian Symphonic Orchestra (the official orchestra of Luciano Pavarotti in Italy) taking part in the VIlI Concerto di Natale in Vaticano at the Paolo VI auditorium, performing with international artists such as the Pooh, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Bryan Adams, Dionne Warwich, Randy Crawford, Anguun, Gigi D’Alessio, Nek, Tosca, Siria etc., under the baton of M° Renato Serio. With the same orchestra, under the baton of M° Gianluca Griminelli, I took part at the Concert of New Year’s Eve at the Kuala Lumpur (Malesia) with the ree Tenors (Fabio Sartori, Gegam Grigoryan, Warren Mok) which was televised live on national television.
2009/2011 I formed part of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Conservatorio “V. Bellini” in Palermo performing at various symphonic concerts, (Sala Scarlatti, Teatro Politeama, Cattedrale di Palermo, Duomo di Monreale, Assemblea Regionale, Teatro Golden) among which a concert with Jon Lord who is the organist and pianist of the Deep Purple.
- I also performed several concerts with the Jazz Orchestra “Made in Sicily” where we performed some famous traditional Italian music in the jazz genre.
2011 I took part in the Orchester der Tiroler Festspiele (Austria) under the baton of Gustav Kuhn, performing three operas by R. (Tannahuser, Maestri Cantori e Parsifal).
- I was one of the founding members of the Orchestra Filarmonica “Ruggero II” where we performed practically all throughout Sicily and taking part in the following concerts: “Festival del Sole” directed by Alberto Veronesi, with the participation of soprano Desirèe Rancatore and tenor Vincenzo La Scola; ###VI Festival Internazionale of Noto (Sr); Bellini Festival in Catania; 54° Settimana di Musica Sacra in Monreale directed by Peter Tiboris; Concerts for the “Circuito del Mito” directed by Giuseppe Cataldo.
2012 I took part in the Orchestra Guido d’Arezzo in Arezzo under the baton of M° Stefano Pagliani accompanying the rst oboist Berliner Philharmoniker, Christof Hartmann.
2019 I took part in the Orchestra del Luglio Musicale Trapanese under the baton of M° Andrea Certa performing during the summer operatic and symphonic season.
2014/2022 Since 2014, I have been teaching violin at the Scuola Secondaria di I grado Statale. I have taught at the Istituto Comprensivo F. Giorgio di Licata (AG), l’Istituto Omnicomprensivo L. Pirandello di Lampedusa (AG), l’Istituto Comprensivo M. Rapisardi di Canicattì (AG) e l’Istituto Comprensivo “Fra Felice da Sambuca” di Sambuca di Sicilia (AG). At the moment I am teaching at the l’Istituto Comprensivo “L. Sciascia di Scoglitti” (RG). Besides the above, I have founded the Elite String Quartet, with 2 violins, 1 viola and 1 violoncello. 1997 We took part at the Festival “Palermo di Scena”.
1999 We released the rst CD called “We are trash for you” dedicated solely to the composers of the 1900 such as Gershwin, Gardel, Piazzolla, Morricone, Wonder, Jenkins).
- We took part at a concerto at “Teatro Comunale Marconi” in Alcamo (TP) on the
occasion of commemorating Giovanni Falcone e Paolo Borsellino.
- Tournée in South Korea, a concert at the Cathedral in Myongdong at Seoul, we
participated at the International Travel Expo in Kangwon e at the Wonju Chiak Festival, where we performed the rst ever “Canti di Sicilia” composed for the ensemble under the baton of M° Eliodoro Sollima.
- ESQ received the international prize “Pigna d’argento”, a special prize for emerging artists at a national level.
2000 Tournée in Canada: we played at the auditorium of “Phillip T. Young Recital Hall” (School of music, University of Victoria), at the Teatro Comunale di Nelson and at the Istituto di Cultura Italiano in Calgary.
- Release of 2nd CD called “Canti di Sicilia” dedicated to M° Eliodoro Sollima.
2003 We participated during a show called “Musica in Liberty” organized by the council of Vittoria (RG).
- ESQ was a guest at the“Teatrodelsole Festival 2003” in Palermo.
2004 ESQ partecipa during a show called “Natale a Palermo” dedicated to the sculptor Giacomo Serpotta, organized by the council of Palermo.
2005 ESQ participated in the international conference organized by the “Museo del Mare”.
2006 We took part at the manifestation called “Cee Convention Palermo 2006” organized by Unicredit Bank.
2009 We took part at the manifestation entitled “Provincia in Festa” organized by the musical association A.GI.MUS for the regional province of Palermo.
2011 We performed at the Teatro Politeama Garibaldi in Palermo on the occasion of the “Concerto per Sangmelima”, a manifestation organized by the Rotary Club Agorà, in aid to construct a school in Cameroun.
