Meet Our New Head of Department – Elena Micallef-Borg

We're delighted to welcome Eli as our new Head of Department.

With over 40 years of experience in hospitality, event management and destination management, Eli brings exceptional expertise, leadership and a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences. Having built her career across five-star hotels and high-profile events, she is known for her attention to detail, creative thinking and people-first approach.

Fluent in Maltese, English, French and Italian, Eli loves connecting with people and creating memorable experiences. Outside of work, you'll find her travelling, sailing, discovering new cuisines or enjoying the arts.

We're excited to have Eli leading the team and look forward to the experience and energy she brings.

20Twenty – Boutique Experiential Travel DMC is looking for a Destination Services Executive to join our growing team in Malta.

In this role, you'll plan and coordinate a wide range of destination services, including MICE, group travel, FIT (tailor-made travel), and pre- and post-cruise stays. You'll work closely with international clients and partners to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences across the Maltese Islands.

What we're looking for:

- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach.
- A passion for destination management, luxury travel, and customer service.
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or destination management is considered an asset.

The evening began with an elegant cocktail reception at the Embassy of Malta in France, where His Excellency Ambassador Pierre Clive Agius welcomed our guests, setting the perfect tone for an evening dedicated to showcasing Malta’s hospitality, culture and exceptional tourism offering.

Guests then enjoyed a memorable dinner, creating the ideal setting to strengthen relationships and highlight the unique experiences Malta has to offer for luxury FIT travellers, groups and MICE.

Representing 20Twenty DMC were our Managing Director, Michela Mifsud, together with our French Market Representative, Alexandra Rosterg.
