Huge well done to Tulikettu Redkik Racing navigator Michael Wahlroos, who completed the Silverrudder - Challenge of the Sea yesterday morning, finishing 14th aboard a Fareast 28R 🇩🇰⛵️

A tough edition, with 20+ knots, a pretty wild sea state and more than 60% of the race spent upwind - less than ideal conditions for taking on a lap of Funen singlehandedly 🌊

This Friday, Tulikettu Redkik Racing's navigator Michael Wahlroos swaps the nav station for a smaller office, taking on the Silverrudder - Challenge of the Sea aboard a Fareast 28R 🇩🇰⛵️

Starting and finishing in Svendborg, SILVERRUDDER is a 134+ nautical mile solo race around the Danish island of Funen. No crew, no mandatory navigational marks between start and finish - just Micke, the boat and a lap of an island to figure out!

The race has grown from just 15 sailors in 2012 to one of the biggest singlehanded sailing events in the world, with 450 boats taking on the challenge this year.
