Vacancy Delivery Driver

The position involves the transport of cargo and goods to/from:
• Carriers
• Distribution centres
• Manufacturer’s warehouse
• Retail outlets
• Wholesale centres
• Offices
• Build up pallets at customers premises
• Label boxes and pallets
• Loading and Unloading Trucks and Containers
The job is ideally suited to someone who works on their initiative and feels at ease dealing with a wide range of customers.

As well as delivering goods, you must be able to perform various administrative duties such as giving out invoices, filling in forms and getting signatures from the customers. The delivery driver also must keep accurate records of mileage, fuel purchase and other costs incurred while on duty.

ABOUT THE JOB
Working as part of a team, we are looking for an energetic and motivated person who will be expected to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and the operations team.

Responsibilities will include:

Receive and process enquiries.
Quick and accurate response to emails.
Issue quotations.
Book shipments
Liaise with clients for collection and delivery of shipments.
Problem solving.
Keep CRM systems updated.

ABOUT THE PERSON
Candidates should have at least two years’ experience in freight forwarding. Alternatively, a combination of academic and experience in sales or freight forwarding.

Cargo Agent

ABOUT THE JOB
As an Cargo Agent you will be responsible for the movement of our customers’ shipments and the main point of contact between customers, customs brokers, and carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

Co-ordinating with carriers.
Ground transportation partners.
Arranging collections and deliveries.
Prepare and lodge import and export Customs entries.
Communicate and ensure release of freight from carriers.
Data Input.
Complete Documentation
Interaction with customers.
Liaise with overseas offices and partner transport providers
Receive and track purchase orders from customers and overseas partners
Handle and manage contact regarding exceptions.

ABOUT THE PERSON
The position requires an individual who can work on their own initiative and under tight deadlines.

Applicants must have O-level standard of education and good command of Geography.

Training will be provided however previous experience in a similar position would be an asset. A sound knowledge of Geography and a high level of IT skills, in particular the use of Word and Excel is a must.
