ARCstudio has obtained a planning permit for BirdLife Malta to bring a full upgrade for its bird watching hide at the Għadira Nature Reserve.
The current facility is not responding to today’s needs. It will be replaced with a new accessible to all, sympathetic to its surroundings and made of recycled / reused materials, including a planted roof.

We are currently working with the Għaxaq Local Council on plans for the restoration of the ‘Turretta’, the Għaxaq Semaphore Tower built in 1848.

ARCstudio is currently working on the design to replace the current new bird watching hide (in photo) at the Għadira Nature Reserve for BirdLife Malta.
Prepared to better welcome the visiting classes of school children and provide access for all, the new design will aim at embracing the rural character of the landscape and making use of salvaged and recycled material.

Today we had the honour to present Fr Marcellino Micallef founder of Soup Kitchen OFM - Valletta and the Franciscan Minors with a brass plaque in recognition for having the foresight and courage to turning a forgotten space into a successfully run soup kitchen and community gathering place. This project carried out by ARC Studio was the winner of the Rehabilitation and Conservation award for this year's edition.
