turns out the previous EXPERT forgot to tighten the crank pulley also😭😭....and it seems also that he didn't have any sockets on hand neither.
One thing he didn't forget, and that's plenty of silicone🤮🤮

Tighten your Flywheel Bolts properly !!!!
continuing yesterday's post here are some close ups and my thoughts.
After someone replaced the clutch on this particular engine, they did not tighten the flywheel bolt up as required also possibility of debree on the taper during installation.. causing the hub to rattle on the crank and destroy the mating faces.
hope pics are good enough to see that the lock washer has been hammered at the edges, but not enough that it broke and let the hub spin freely!!!
If you have any other theories i would like to hear..feel free

Engine out... Flywheel bolt stuck and snapped off while loosening...Pressure plate hub fused to crank.... broke the puller... torched pressure plate out to get to the hub and after splitting it, the dam thing still wouldn't come out... had to split it twice to finally get it off!!!
Some arse hole fu**ed it up and i get to unf**k it.... ohhh what joy.
We'll see if the crank will be repaired or replaced...stay tuned!!

First ever track /time attack @ Racalmuto aftermath...
Just as i got packing up the car on the trailer the officials gave our class one final bonus round... literally rushed to stick the transponder back on the car, unloaded and hit the track again for the very last time...and i ended up posting the best personal time for the event of 1.23.34... not blistering fast but still proud of the acheivment considering its a bone stock car with 168k miles running on steet tyre which do not even match front to back, and with old tired rusty suspension...basically just bought the car and raced it after just a good service...

Was also thrilled to come ahead of an audi on street tyres and impreza on semislicks...
Finally it has been a great event with lots of nice people and nice cars and wish to thank Joe Anastasi for his help and effort and also my terrific Chantelle for the support she has shown...

Still have much more to grow both as a driver and builder so keep looking out for updates of my track car project...

First day done!! Coolant Temp was climbing slightly more than i liked so will try removing the condensor for better airflow...

Well actually its just levelling out since they tend to sit low from the back...so made these billet pieces to counter act that problem
