Body is expression… always… the posture is an expression… of…. genetics, habits, experiences, traumas, emotions, feelings, adaptation, relationships… we wanna use the work to ket the body talk and to learn how to read it so that we can it what it needs and, if we wanna do that, the last thing we need is to block the body in a box or in a preconceived idea of how the body should look because, in this way, we block the expression, we stop focusing on what we see and we limit our possibilities and those of the body in front of us… of course we “correct” through our work, but it’s important to understand in which direction… the center is not a fixed box, the center is a way of organising the entire body, to connect the movement to the awareness, the emotions, the person to the environment … to create balance, harmony, efficiency, happiness, wholeness, freedom , power and consistency so… don't fix... HEAL…. don’t teach…. EDUCATE… work for the integrity, the respect, the beauty of this work and the people 💜

A most wonderful time with ❤️A reminder that the Joseph Pilates method is not about intensity for its own sake nor is it chasing exhaustion….. it is about precision, awareness, connection and integrity of movement. It is about building a body that supports you in life, not just in the studio.
By the end of the session, the energy in the studio felt different , felt better …. Fuller …. More grounded …. More connected . We touched something deeper than just a workout.
