We strongly condemn the KFC advertisement that was shown at the entrance of Ganga Talao for contemptuously betraying the Hindu religious sentiment.

KFC promotes absolute non-vegetarianism which is unacceptable in the premises of any Hindu Mandir.

KFC Mauritius has a history of preying on the Hindu religious sentiment, and we will not stand for it this time.

We were informed by the Grand Bassin Police Station, that all the banners had been removed by 18hrs. It was also brought to our attention that The District Council of Savanne had granted permission to the event organisers to display these banners.

We also spoke with Annabelle Fanchette, the Head of Marketing & Communications of Pick 'N' Eat (KFC Mauritius) of Eclosia Group, to obtain her perspective on the situation.
