We are incredibly honored to present three legendary figures of the Mauritian and regional cosplay community who will form our elite judging panel on Saturday, August 1st at the IFM!

Meet your judges:

🏆 YashYukii Cosplay
A competitor of the highest caliber! YashYukii is a decorated double-champion of CosmauCon and holds the prestigious title of being the very first champion of the Indian Ocean Cosplay Championship (IOCC). She knows the pressure of the stage, the complexity of construction, and the magic of performance.

🎨 Sabrina “Kyky” Thierry (Mamaroach Cosplay)
A true master of craftsmanship! Sabrina is a multiple-time winner of cosplay competitions in Mauritius and across the Indian Ocean region (specifically during 2022–2023). An art educator, custom portraitist, and the creative force behind Kyky Otaku, she brings a flawless eye for fabric work, hand-stitched detailing, and structural design.

⚔️ Jason Tse
The ultimate master of props! Jason has been a cornerstone of the local community, known for his incredible, highly detailed armor prep and handmade Japanese swords. He has represented Mauritius internationally on the big stage at the Geekali Festival in Réunion Island and knows exactly what it takes to bring a character to life on stage.
