Green Vision’s first Vertical Garden completed at Kokkine Residence

Green Vision is proud to announce that it has completed the first vertical garden in Myanmar. Located at Kokkine Residence in Golden Valley, it creates an attractive barrier between the pool area and the car park. Residents can now enjoy relaxing next to a vertical garden that features a diversity of local and acclimated exotic plants.
Green Vision believes in delivering sustainable development in Myanmar. Developing vertical gardens on buildings is one of many ways Green Vision currently investigates sustainable building solutions.

A Green Wall offers many advantages that combine to meet sustainable development goals:
-It reduces urban heat island effect and smog;
-It cleans outside air of pollutants and dust and offsets the carbon footprint of people and fuel emissions;
-It cleans interior air space by removing VOCs and other harmful toxins like benzene and formaldehyde;
-It acts as a sound proofing barrier;
Soil and plants are a natural filter that can clean the water that flows through the wall
-It insulates and cools the building envelope, as well as protecting it from the elements
-It creates habitats for birds and beneficial insects, increasing biodiversity

Our vertical garden consists in a metallic structure that supports an irrigation system and the pots in which plants are rooted. The irrigation system allows controlled drip flow of water directly at the root of each plant, optimizing water consumption. If you want to know more about this or if you are interested in installing a Green Wall on you property, please do not hesitate to contact us.
